PING PLD Milled putters can be purchased through authorized PING retailers committed to selling premium and custom-fit putters.

Club length, club lie, grip options, and paint-fill are all available. Tungsten weighting, face milling, alignment aids and custom finishes are only available through the PLD Custom program. There’s no difference in the tour-level quality of exacting detail, personal service and high standards you’ll enjoy whether you’re fit virtually or in person. The price is the same for both experiences. During the virtual fitting, your PING Master Fitter will provide expert analysis of your PLD iPING putting data and make recommendations based on your stroke metrics. You will then be walked through the numerous custom options as you create your one-of-a-kind putter that will be custom built by the PING Wrx team of craftsmen. Onsite at the PING Proving Grounds we’ll perform an additional PLD iPING session in the PING Putting Lab, where we’ll review your data and make your model and design selections together. You’ll also tour the PING Gold Putter Vault and meet the PING Wrx team.

The price of a PLD Custom putter is $1,490 (MSRP) and includes a custom fitting (virtual or in person), choice of putter model, material, head weight, finish, face milling, alignment aid(s), shaft, grip, engraving and paint fill. A $200, non-refundable payment is required to schedule and participate in a PLD Custom Putter Experience (virtually or in person). This payment is applied to the fitting experience at time of payment. Custom feature requests beyond what is stated above may be subject to additional cost.

Upon receipt of the down payment that confirms your appointment, we’ll ship you a PLD Welcome Kit with an iPod touch (pre-loaded with the PLD iPING putting app), an iPING cradle, a PLD-branded putting disk and a pre-paid return envelope. These tools will be used by you to conduct your iPING putting sessions in advance of your appointment. The iPod touch and charging cord must be returned in the pre-paid envelope. The iPING cradle and putting disk are yours to keep.

To purchase a PING PLD Custom putter you must first schedule an in-person or virtual fitting with one of our PING Master Fitters. To book an exclusive PING PLD putter fitting, please schedule a time most convenient to you. Once fit, your master fitter will assist you through the customization and purchase process.

The general answer is no. Whether your PLD Limited is a collector’s item that you will display on your shelf, or an exact duplicate of a tour player’s putter that you might use on the course, these putters are only offered with their original specs.
